The Nokia 6235
Nokia's aiming straight for the middle of the market with the 6235, a new cameraphone with safely middlebrown design
that comes with a VGA quality digital camera, 10MB of internal memory, a built-in FM tuner, 65k color LCD screen, MP3
ringtones, and software for streaming video off of the web. Works on CDMA networks, which means it'll either be
available from Verizon Wireless or Sprint here in the States.

Does this phone support Bluetooth for data syncing and/or network access?

This 6235 phone sounds like a 6230, but with 3G capabilities. And if it is a 3G'zed 6230 then it probably supports Bluetooth all the way.
Cool.. it's probably the smallest 3G phone too.
I've got the 6230 and it's very good. Very fast. 6235 will be Nokia's first attractive 3G phone. Cool.
Does anybody know if it can play MP3 songs? I know it can play MP3 ringtones. If I store MP3 songs as files in the 10MB memory provided, can this set play it back?
Thanks in advance.

I got the answer for my question after buying the set. It CAN play MP3 songs. But nowhere in the user manual this is mentioned.
phone is quite nice.
but, two things i did not like about it.
1.) does not have bluetooth, IR is very very irritating.
2). joy stick is not very good
I'm having some problems to set as rigtones the MP3s [64kbps] I downloaded fro my PC to my Nokia 6235, they play perfectly in the media player, but when I try to set them as ringtone I receive a message saying: "invalid application". Could someone help me on that???
I also tried to convert them to AMR and I receive the same error

I Have the same error!
I tried everything, but the ringtones simply don't work!
Someone can help me?
1. Yes the jystick is a little stiff. But as to me, there are no perfect phones. Only you can believe them to be perfect.
2. For BlueTooth and more memory get 6255. It has miniSD slot and Bluetooth. Being a sweettooth I feel no lack.
3. Lucas, you could try to reprogram the firmware in your phone. Go to some craftsmen or just change the phone at your store and before you do use Irda to send some mp3 there and set it as a ringtome. it works perfectly in my cell.
4. Sudeepa, not only you can play mp3's but also 3gp video and steamed video from internet. Remember, CDMA is much safer as communication standart (as to both health and privacy) and much faster as for data transmission. So these phones have to be almost entirely digital. just yesterday I IRDa-ed lots of nice content including pics, mp3's, videos anmations and it plays them all perfectly fine.
