Nintendo DS dissected
The people at Lik-Sang were kind enough to take apart a Nintendo DS for us, revealing not too many surprises. Of note was confirmation that the DS uses the same battery as the GBA SP. Also confirmed is the fact that the GBA Movie Player works with the DS, and the better TFT screen on the DS makes the videos look even better. The DS can be taken apart using the same tool used for the SP. We recommend enjoying your DS for at least a few hours before ripping it open, however.

I think its unfair that us brits have to wait till March, and then pay more than US and Canada!
It would cost less importing it with shipping costs than to wait and buy it over here, arrg!

So why don't you import it? The carts aren't locked to a specific region so when it does launch here you can just buy them from Game or wherever. Can't honestly think of a reason not to import

I still don't see why they have to make the consoles more expensive just because they are flying them oversea. They are taking the Dollar price adding twenty dollars not even carring about the value of the euro and then calling that the price... It's so dumb.
