How is it that yesterday's article in the New York Times about the GuitarBot, a guitar-playing robot invented by Eric Singer, Kevin Larke, and David Bianciardi, manages to dwell on all manner of philosphical non-issues like whether a robot can play truly music with emotion, and completely avoids asking the questions we really want answered, like whether it could beat Yngwie or Satriani in a shredding contest?
