Any particular reason why the 18th podcast was never given a story? I mean it was uploaded and i got it via the rss feed a few days ago (last Friday i think), but it never appeared on the site.... weird.

Oliver @ Dec 19th 2005 2:27AM
Well that's really weird then. Not only did i never see that, but I even did a search for the term 'podcast' and it came up with the 17th and 19th podcasts, but not number 18.
Anyway, never-mind then :-p

Some comments
"Imagine" is a pretty cool song, one of those timeless songs, incubus did a pretty cool remake too.
That string theory stuff does kind of blow your mind, my college physics professor is always making fun of those string theorists in the department, how they only have two questions: figure out what string theory is and to figure out what the variables are, and they will be set and we will have to throw away all of the current physics books down here in measly physics I and start learning about the 11 dimensions. I guess one of the string theorists in the department has kept saying that he will have the theory solved by 11:59, December 31st, and then we will have to forget everything about newtonian mechanics and all start learning about string theory.
Heh, learning about the different slices of bread might be more fun then learning about all of these different kinds of waves, I don't know...

Anyone have any trouble automatically downloading Engadget podcasts with iPodder? I added the feed a few weeks ago but it never downloads Engadget (even this one), just the other ones like DSC, DDS etc.
Yes, I have added the URL "http://www.engadget.com/common/videos/pt/rss.xml" to the iPodder list
Tom @ Dec 19th 2005 2:27AM
That dog is too damn cute :
Gordo @ Dec 19th 2005 2:27AM
Also, with respect to my above post, this could be the cause of my grief...
If I browse to http://www.engadget.com/common/videos/pt/rss.xml
I get the error
Access is denied. Error processing resource 'http://www.engadget.com/common/videos/pt/rss.xml'.
Plus, the URL now reads as
http://media.weblogsinc.com/common/videos/pt/rss.xml
Whats up with that, Phil?
Gordo @ Dec 19th 2005 2:27AM
Finally fixed the problem
Phil, for new users the "Add the Engadget Feed" link in this page needs to point directly to "http://media.weblogsinc.com/common/videos/pt/rss.xml" to work correctly.
I just added the above URL to iPodder and things work fine now.
Steven @ Dec 19th 2005 2:27AM
sweet, the media.weblogsinc.com/...xml worked =)

Has anyone compiled a text listing of all the phones being used by the Mobius short interviews? - Steve
