Not wanting to throw a spanner in the works. But. Those things insulate to keep things cold. I.E. cold beer cans and other such things that start out cold. Now, unless I am mistaken, wont this make the iPod get really hot and really quickly because, due to insulation, heat will be kept in ? Last time I looked the aim was not to cook and iPod in it's own juices.
