PSP vs. DS
If you've really been dying to know how the PlayStation Portable compares to the Nintendo DS in terms of size,
Lik-sang has a pic of the two side-by-side. There might be only one of them, but the screen on the PSP is, uh, very
big.
[Via Joystiq]

WHo would want to watch movies on that dinky screen. WTF was sony thinking when they thought that making movies for the psp was a good idea. who the hell would want to actully buy a movie for the 4 inch screen on the psp???? wouldn't you get a regular dvd and watch it on a larger screen a save your eyes from destruction????
i own a ds and i love they psp but i think that is a dumb idea.
Anyone who has a PSP----
I'm just curious, but what do you guys have on your PSP Memory Stick Duos? Do you guys actually put music or movies on them? Because I think they would take to much space. I dunno though...
PSP Wins here, but as far as PS3 sony needs to learn console design
PSP Wins here, but as far as PS3 sony needs to learn console design
Yea, golden eye: rogue agent is coming out on monday for the ds! The ds is the best handheld for FPS games, its so much easier on the touch screen, nintendo proved that day one with metroid prime hunters first hunt demo. I don't like the idea of kirby cursed canvas, to me it seems more like one huge mini game then a full game. I've heard Wario Ware was really good, but I'm not one to buy a mini-game game, so if some really thinks it rocks and I should try it, then tell me and convince me, cuz I'm all ears here.
About the psp's movies being on too small of a screen, that really doesn't bother me, I've always been a portable player so im used to small screens.
HHMMM... WHATS THAT? I THINK I SMELL BURNING PSP...LOL! I'll be right there with master mind to watch the psp crash and burn!
as an owner of a psp i know that the size is perfect the screen is perfect and it is extremely useful. as for the screen being scratched easily, it isnt mine is barely scratched at all,and it comes with a soft slip to put the psp in so the screen doesnt scratch in your pocket. the disks dont scratch and they're smaller than an old gameboy color game.
the quality of the games are also NO comparison to the ds. the psp's games are very graphical and have long gameplay and replay value. most of the time i get about 6-8 hours of gameplay and 3-4 hours on internet wifi play
ive actually put 38 songs and a full length dvd rip of scary movie on my psp using psp video9 and dvd to mpeg ripper and the quality of the movie is still eceptional on my psp. I'm only using a 256 mb card and the movie was converted down to 190 mb's. it is a bit grainy but what do you expect from 2 gb to a 190 mb conversion
I don't think rogue agent is going to be any good. If your looking for a good DS game, get Warioware: Twisted or Star Wars III: Return of the Sith.
i own wario ware for the ds. it isn't most sophisticated game but its addicting as hell. i cant play that in front of my friends without being swarmed. wario ware does take advantage of the touch screen and the microphone well. i hope nintendo and other companies could use the microphone that way more often.
Wow, have any of you guys seen the GB micro?......it sux! psp is going to beat the hell out of it! The thing is as big as a card! and it only has a d-pad, 2 face buttons, and 2 shoulders( no touch pad). plus it has a 2" screen, looks even uglyer than the ds, and just overall sux!(if you ask me I think ds beats it).
Duo----
Don't be stupid, of course it doesn't have a touch screen-It's a GBA!. Also, all GBAs, even DS, have a 2" screen! Duh! And of course the DS beats it, that's like a given man.
I just want to point out one thing about these console wars. You can't blame the consoles for the games they have. The same reason you are saying PSP or DS sucks....is exactly the same reason you say the other is good?? I mean "The games are better for ______" is not an argument considering the same developers are making games FOR BOTH CONSOLES!!!!! I personally own a PSP. the majority of games for DS son't appeal to me except Metroid and soon to be Lunar Genesis (drool). But in the long run PSP just has the power to make awesome games. Y's 6 for example. Awesome awesome RPG and soon to be Crisis Core. I think DS was nice...but overall PSP I think is better. Again....developers will decide this. PSP has the power..they just need the developer support which Sony is the master of doing.
basically hands down psp all the way the only thing i really hate about the ds is the awkward positions u have to do to hold the thing hit buttons and ur the stupid stylus all and 1 time and concentrate on and game and not dropping the thing and i aggree about what ppl say about it being kiddish so bassically psp rocks and ds sucks
I'm still neither a Sony fan, nor a Nintendo fan. I own a DS, and I'm hopefully going to get a PSP. What I want to point out is how much you guys don't know about the handhelds you're arguing about.
Jordan----
Dude, I can tell you don't own a DS because you're talking about the awkward way to hold it. You've probably only played the Metroid Demo in a store or something, because at stores they only let you use the stylus, not the wrist strap(You can use your thumb, though).
I totally agree with humantorch4pres (by the way, can you explain what your name means?), Jordan, if he has ever really played the ds, has played it in stores. The thumb pad works amazingly on mario 64 ds and metroid hunters demo. Since the touch screen is a totally new way of playing games, you have to get used to it, I had to get used to a stick when I got my n64, and it took about the same time to get used to a anolog stick as it did getting used to the touch screen.
You don't think Rogue Agent looks good?! I think it look great, minus the strangely cheesey music. I love FPS on the ds, so I think I love this game. Wario Ware is good? hmm, ok, I heard it was good, but a bunch of mini games doesn't really apeal to me, but I guess I rent it or something just to try it out. I have played the star wars game at EB games, but I don't really like it, Its too GBA, yea know what I mean? I got the ds for 3D games, not 2D side scrollers.
I prefer ds games alot more than the psp games, like mario and metroid. I can't wait till zelda gets on the ds, I really don't care if its new or just the n64 zelda games, which I found both to rock.
DS RULES!!!
Well, my name is fairly simple...Okay, maybe not. But, it's just: Humantorch(fantastic 4, I liked it before anyone had even thought of making a movie) for Pres(President). Iono really. Oh well...
REVENGER----
I guess everyones game choice is different. I haven't actually read much about Rogue Agent, it's just what my friends have told me.
By the way, people, which next gen game console are you guys most likely to get:
PS3, XBOX 360, or Nintendo Revolution?
Well I bought a PSP. Now I love it but dang I'm off to get a DS and here's why.
1. Load times and start up..It aint quick.
2. Battery life.
3. ITS TOO SHINY........try to play it anywhere with lights such as an airport or the back of car on a sunny day in a traffic jam too much reflection off the screen.
4. Where are the games?? I've finished Ridge racer and wipeout pure( downloaded the extra track and ship)...I will never play Golf in real life let alone on a portable!
5. I WANT ORIGINAL AND DIFFERENT GAMES!
6. Memory cards cost! I have a 1gb card
7. I played a DS and Loved it.
Well even though DS is easier to play as some one said, i belive that with SONY PSP you can enjoy it much more because of its games, movies, photos, and even music. That is all you need to go in a trip. and the design its awsome...... In other words PSP rules!!!!!
Ok, lol I guess it makes more sense now, though I don't read comic books and I only know the F4 from the movie coming out.
I'm probably getting a revolutions, unless the contoler is too fresh for me to handle, I heard its gonna be completly different, which could be awsome, or dangerous.
PSP games suck, thats all there is to it. Ok, they might get one or two good games, but thats all. Don't agrue with me on this cuz its just my opinion.
Does any one know of a good, FREE server i could find to put up a website on? I heard .tk was good but I don't know if they are free.
If you're a mature gamer, you get Sony PSP. If you're an immature child, you get Nintendo DS. It's that simple.
If you're a mature gamer, you get Sony PSP. If you're an immature child, you get Nintendo DS. It's that simple.
wow,you people just don't get it,what the hell are we all still argueing about? as a system psp is better,as for games thats your choice. (but together sony and other companies have over 100 games in the works)we came here to find out which system is better...and now we know!
jay- you said you want ds cause psp is to shiny!?(thats an arguement i hav'nt heard)it's not that bad! and if it is you can buy a cheap(about $2)clear screen cover! you also said memory cards cost(well isn't that detailed!) if you already have a one gig memory sick wats the problem? "then you said you want original games!" like mario, tetris and zelda are so original! and you say "were are the games i've finished ridge racer and wipeout pure" as if those are the only games out for psp!(you still have about 20 other games to try!). so you love ds han? well all these ds fans are just dumbasses that don't own or have'nt played psp's! so i don't know what your excuse is!
I supose you consider me a ds fan, but I have played the psp and I already told you its a great system, but I like the ds more.
Dengez, my god your more childish than avenger! Well, If we are to go by what you have said, then you MUST own a nintendo ds, because your really immature. Your just another dumbass psp fan boy that thinks your choice of game system defines you as a person, which is completely moronic! Seriously dengez, just grow up!
Avenger----
I'm with you against Jay. I mean, to shiny, what the...I played my brothers PSP and it was fine. Also, he hasn't played some of the best games(Twisted Metal & Darkstalkers).
MasterMind----
You took the words right out of my mouth with what you said about Dengez. It's not really how mature you are, it's about your lifestyle.
mastermind-first of all, moronic isn't even a real word!(there is somthing called a dictionary you know) and why am i childish?....is it because i can prove the psp better and your dumb ass can't do the same for ds!? if you like ds more i don't know whats wrong with you. but hay,it's your choice i guess.
Moronic isn't a word? Wow you really are stupid! Your right, there is something called a dictionary, and here is a link to an online dictionary, with the word moronic in it!
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=moronic
AHAHAHAH, its even more pathadic that you don't even realize your own childishness! I have yet to see you PROVE the psp is better than the ds, and every time someone points out something good on the ds, you just reply that it doesn't count because you find it either too complex or your just afraid of change!
why does everyone say the ds is childish? just cause its wrapped in abs plastic and not the shiny stuff. well let me tell you that your tv, computer, printer etc. all are protected in abs plastic. are you say that your computer is childish? are you not going to watch your tv because its not shiny?
I hate to tell you guys this but these handhelds ARE freakin toys. The very nature of gaming is childish and and should not be taken in a very serious manner at all. These are not PDAs designed for buisness use (Nintendo DS looks more like a PDA, PSP looks like a portable DVD player). If you are 20-30 years old and feel that this 'toy' looks too much like a 'toy' to you, then you should grow up and stop playing games. You are obviously in it for something other than just having fun. Sorry about the rant as I hear alot of false information flying around in here. People have their own reasons for liking either system, but please don't complain about 'toys' looking like 'toys'.
psp is far better graphics looks games could do with increased battery time but amazing screen i have one from canada as soon as it came out and i played on my mates ds poor graphics, like touchscreen idea though
Mastermind-lol, what the hell is wrong with you!? you need a damn life kid! you actually whent and got a dictionary!? i'm not gonna waste my time clicking on that link, but ILMAO cause you actually got one.alright mastermind, PROVE DS BETTER THAN PSP! you think it's better so tell me, what does ds have on psp!!?(i'm all ears!)
OK, OK, OK...
I like the DS. The PSP is cool but when I played it, it was nothing new. It's basically an enhanced version of a modern cell phone.
- Cell phones can play live TV (and maybe movies... not sure)
- Cell phones can play music and MP3.
- Cell phones can play videogames.
All the PSP has is graphics... If there were graphics on it like the DS, or better yet, if the DS graphics were better, a lot of people would choose a DS
As for you Avenger, I'm going to take on your little challenge.
So, what does the DS have on the PSP?
I'll tell you what it has. The DS opens up a whole new world of gaming that has never been on any other console. The PSP, on the other hand, is a portable PS2. It's nothing new. And since in platformer games like SM64DS, you have the capability to navigate more freely, what with the virtual analog stick and all. And plus, it's as fun as hell. The numerous amount of possibilities developers could come up with using the touch screen, the double screens and the microphone are endless. The DS is a very unique handheld.
And one more thing...
The DS can do what the PSP can do. Although, the DS can't match up to the PSP's graphical standards, there has been some talk about expansion paks that people could put into the GBA slot, so the graphics are improved, just like the expansion pak on the N64. Second of all, although there hasn't been much talk about it, music and movies can be possible to put onto a DS. You could apply them via the DS or GBA gamepaks into the slots. Thirdly, and the one that everyone knows, is that the DS is going online! Doin' 8-way Mario Kart DS online is gonna KICK ASS!!!
But... the PSP on the other hand.
It can't have touch-screen.
It can't have dual-screens.
It's very unlikely that they could use a microphone, and even if they did, Nintendo would sue their asses.
There have been rumors of applying a keyboard to the PSP for online use but
- You'd look pretty dumb carrying a keyboard around.
- It would cost, like, a gazillion dollars.
My only criticism of the DS is that I have a lot of scratches on my touch screen but I do my best to ignore them.
So, anyway, that's my argument. Avenger, I don't care what you think, but one thing's for sure: You sure as hell can't deny a lot of the facts that I have just written down. The PSP does not own the DS (if that's what it's trying to do) but I guess the DS doesn't own the PSP either. They're their own handhelds.
Take note, avenger, this is a PERSONAL opinion.
There may be a lot of true stuff that I have said, but maybe it isn't all facts.
But anyway... THAT'S what the DS has on the PSP.
OK heres what I think, If anyone cares. Im new to this post and have read quite a bit. To start, My personal preference is the PSP. For a couple of reasons.
1. The screen Size. the DS isnt much bigger than the advanced SP. And the PSP has the largest screen by far of any portable yet.
2. Multi-media. While I agree, gaming is the most important aspect, Multi-media, such as movies, Music and Pictures do not hurt. And i have to disagree with tom. as long as nentindo is using cartridges for thir portables, there will not be a way to apply personal music or video via nintendo cartridges. If Nintendo were smart they would Come out with Movie cartridges. and to elaborate on PSP's multi-media. Its Fuckin awsome. DVD quality Picture and sound, which is definitley a first for portable gaming systems. Pictures, again amazing quality and trueness. The PSP is like a small computer and that opens new possibilities. Especially with a gig of memory.
3. Graphics. Gaming graphics that is. I dont care who you are. Graphics are one of the most important aspects of gaming. If Halo, with its exact gameplay, were available with nintendo 64 graphics, no one would play it. Graphics are important. ANd PSP tops any portable when it comes to graphics.
4. Size. The PSP is Smaller that the DS without a doubt. it IS longer but it is also, less wide and flatter. ANd as far as portability goes, the DS does have an advantage with the top screen/cover. But if anyone is really worried about carring around a small case that will perfectly protect the screen of the PSP, that a personl issue. Its not a hassle, or a big deal.
5. Last but not least. SONY. its sony. Nentindo, now noone take this the wrong way, is the same as it was 10 years ago. Im sorry but it is. Nintendo has come out with nothing really "new" in 10 years. Their touch screen, granted it has massive potential, is a bullshit gimmick. No gamplay on the DS utilizes the touchscreen properly for it to be neccesary, or even convinient. Sony, with the first PS console, reinvented Gaming, with out a doubt. And now with the PSP and the future arrival of the PS3, sony is doing it again.
Again these are soley my personal opinions, and if they happen to be offensive I apologize.
Again My personal preference is the PSP, But as tom said they are both their own portable gaming systems.
Tom----
I just want to point out that Nintendo can't sue Sony if sony makes a mic. That would just be stupid.
lol, thats an ok arguement tom,(even though i wanted to here it from mastermind). first of all cell phones can't play games nearly as good as psp or ds. and you said psp has nothing new from ps2? well you know ps2 can't IM, browse the web, play mp3's, play UMD's, or read e-books(just a chort list of new things). so i soppuse ds has so much new?like we haven't seen a pda or mic. and also, you can't consider the touch/dual screen as a benifit because alot of people(like me) like the anolog nub and single high quality lcd screen of psp more. and with all of it's power and 3rd party back up psp has just as much potential as ds!(if not more) and yes there are expansion paks/media players for ds/gba but the quality is trash compared to psp's,plus it still can't do ALL of the media stuff psp can. and your right ds will have online multiplayer soon(which psp already has). but it will never have web browsing capacity like psp. you say "psp can't have touch/dual screen"?thats a good thing! why the hell would sony wanna ruin a good system by adding that junk!? about the key bord, i can care less! thats only one of the many psp accessories they plan on adding in the future.(camera, gps ect) so i'm not denying your so called "facts", but im sorry man ds still has nothin on psp! mastermind,i still want to here your arguement!
Ok, I've been to a lot of blogs on this, I've been to PSP and DS websites and found that a lot of stuff on here is untrue. For instance, the touch screen on the DS IS NOT CRAP. Avenger, you probubly have never played a DS and are a uninformed nut crack. But that doesn't mean I think that the PSP isn't good, it is a multimedia master piece, and it looks awesome, (I have also played it, the controls feel great and the graphics kick butt.) Personally thought, I think that the PSP has more to offer, cause the DS is for games, no matter what you put on it it is for games. The PSP gives you more for you money.
I agree with Dengez. I got a PSP, and i have friends that have the DS. They all say it sucks, and so do I. the PSP's for mature gamers ONLY, the DS is for the rest. Got it.
lol, Avenger why are you so attracted to my arguement? I have said it before, and you didn't want to listen then, so would I expect you to listen now?
Dual screens and a touch screen isn't considered junk to any one but the lil psp fan boys like you! Read all those websites that have real opinions of the DS, almost every one likes the dual screens and touch screen, so I'm still wondering if you have acctually played the ds, or if your just blindly defending the psp.
The web browser was a hack, nothing more. Nintendo could easily make a internet browser for the ds, but I doutb thet will because they plan on sticking to games for the most part.
So Avenger, you have heard my arguement before and many others like it, but just because you know you can't really defend against them, you just say they don't count, like the touch screen, which is an amazing idea that will probably change the portable gaming experience forever. lol I bet lil sony fan boys like yourself will start saying what a great idea the touch screen is if the psp2 comes out with a touch screen. The ds kills the psp!!
I agree with Faraz. Nintendo DS is plastic, fake, and cheap. It's a carbon copy of Paris Hilton. Sony PSP is sexy, sleek, and the real deal. A carbon copy of my wife.
I agree with Dengez. His wife is sexy, and so is the PSP. Who wants the ugly DS with its kid plastic casing. THe PSP has a sleek look that attracts everyone; Including Dengez's wife.
Ok, I've been to a lot of websites on DS and PSP. I've read this blog from about 750 and have found that many of you are ignorant to the features on both systems. The touch pad is not a problem, you don't have to use it if you don't want too, but for shooters it ROCKS. I've played the trail for Metroid and say it is awesome, I've also played the PSP and It too is cool. Avenger, you need to lay off of people, I can understand where your coming from, but this is a blog, let them share their opinions without crushing them. I think the PSP gives you more for you money, but that's just me. It has movies, pictures, and games. the DS is for games, no matter what you say, Nintendo makes game hardware, not multimedia. the PSP is a multimedia device, which is why it's more worth you money. I'm not a Sony fan, I have a Gamecube and a xbox. I bought a game boy and a game boy advance, but the PSP is better for multimedia.
ok first of all i've played the ds many times!(my freind has one)
mr(un)infomed- the touch screen is an opinion!(there are no facts or writing proving that it's a better control method!) you can't say the touch screen isn't crap because there are thousands of psp/ds owners that would disagree! it's still an opinion no matter how many sites you've seen!
mastermind- im not a psp fanboy! and you said "read all those websites that have real opinions of the ds"...exactly! just OPINIONS! i don't want opinions, i want facts. because opinions don't get you anywhere, it's just everyones personal preferance. and no im not blindly defending psp, i know allot about both systems and from were i stand ds has nothing on psp! and then you said "the web browser was just a hack. nothing more."...no!(sarcasm) are you serious!? i never knew that!....lol,what a dumbass, thanx for stating the obvious. and no matter if it's a hack or not, psp owners are still able to browse the web on their handheld but ds owners can't. so why has'nt someone come up with a ds hack like that?...because the ds isn't setup to be able to web browse! and no, nintendo could'nt "easily" make a web browser, but if they could we all know they would'nt. you say i can't defend against your argument?....what am i doing now? im not denying that touch screen is innovative, i think it is, but it's just a method of control and it's still an opinion of which control method is better(i like psp's more).it seems like you ds fans main argument is based on touch/dual screen, and those are just personal opinions!(plus psp has a far better quality screen/display, which can be proven by specs).
ok someone wanted facts so here are some:
psp has a multimedia feature that allows you to play mp3, videos, etc.
in america, third-party suppliers have made a multimedia tool for the ds.
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=&products_id=3983&PHPSESSID=c50e0244e9b5d48feea30594fb318a04
the japs already have the official nintendo version called play-yan
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=246&products_id=6239&
everyone knows the ds is going to be online capible soon
in conclusion, the psp is far ahead from the ds. but nitendo managed to catch up. it isnt very likly that sony will intergrate some of the ds features in to the psp.
You forget MrInformed that the PSP is more expensive. Therefore, I would say both are worth reletively the same.
OK, let me explain something to you, Avenger.
I write a whole f*cking essay on what DS has on the PSP, yet you're still afraid to admit that there's at least one thing that is better about the DS. I don't see why you keep on saying you're not a Sony fanboy.
Anyway
You keep on saying you want facts, not opinions. Look at my last goddam post. A lot of these facts are not 'so-called'.
Of course the cell phone games aren't as good as the DS or the PSP's games. Remember that part when I said that the PSP was an 'ENHANCED' version of the cell phone in my last post?
Duh... we've all seen PDAs and mics before. We have also seen MP3s, UMDs and different techniques for browsing the web. But I'm talking about the gameplay here. The touch screen and the mic are used in the game to create a whole new gameplay experience. The PSP controls are similar to the one of the PS2 so there is no new gameplay.
So you say the PSP doesn't need the touch screen or the mic? Well, what if it did? Would you still thing the PSP is better? Even if the DS had better graphics? If you reply in the affirmative, then that means you're a Sony fan boy. If you say no and go for the DS, then that means you only want it for the flashy graphics.
Both Nintendo and Sony have 3rd party support. But what if they gave up on them? What if it was Nintendo and Sony by themselves? Nintendo would definitely have the advantage, seeing that they're better at making their own games than Sony. They're all classics. SM64 is a classic. Mario Kart 64 is a classic. LoZ: OoT is a classic. Metroid Prime is a classic. I never hear of any Sony-games being Classic.
Returning to the DS/PSP thing...
I don't care about internet browsing really. After all, Nintendo was never meant for that. It's a gaming company. Sony's an entertainment company, that's why they give every product a movie-player MP3 whatever (although the Revolution has a DVD, which is very un-nintendo like)
And the DS can have its own accesories as well. It can have camera GPS or internet browsing if Nintendo wanted it to. And it would work a lot better, too, cuz of... you guessed it... the touch screen. But I don't care about that.
Avenger, will you stop saying the 'the DS has nothing on the PSP'?. The DS has something on the PSP, the PSP has something on the DS. I'm not gonna say you're acting childish cuz then you would act even more childish, so please save your dignity for a time when it's useful.
And I will admit that i'm a Ninty fan but I'm definitely not saying the PSP is a piece of crap. I'll admit, it has the looks, but it just doesn't have the gameplay.
humantorch4pres
I don't know a lot about suing game companies so just forget what I said.
I hope I made a few things straight here. (I didn't want to make avenger straight cuz he's happy bein gay)
Don't call me a DS fan Avenger. I even said that the PSP is better in my last entry. You are the most pig headed person I've met, Tom and many other people have been showing you stuff for so fricken long it's no even funny. Yet you just keep saying the same thing. This is a discussion on VIDEO GAMES NOT LIFE. Some people can like the DS more unlike you and me. LIVE WITH IT!!!
Tom what the hell is wrong with you!? you keep asking me what if, what if this?,what if that?........WHAT IF NOT! i'm not here to talk about what could be! i'm here to talk about what is! you say ds can have a camera or GPS or web browser!?....well yea it can,BUT IT DOS"NT! plus it dosn't have nearly as much power as psp or as high quality display! so it would have poor quality camera, GPS and web browser compared to psp! so please refresh my memory! what does ds have on psp?(don't say touch/dual screen cuz thats just your gay ass opinion!)
woops, i did repeat some stuff. after I read avenger's comment after my first post, I quickly started writing a new post, so I ignored everything else after that. my bad.
but anyhoo, this is one of my first time's on engadget forums and I couldn't be bothered to read all of the first 6 billion posts.
woah woah woah avenger. I may've been a bit over the top writing a gigantic essay but you don't need to scream in my face! mrinformed, I don't care if I'm pig headed. I love videogames and I'm trying to hold the DS's side of the argument. And Avenger, I don't care about GPS or camera, I wrote that, remember? Anyway, no more essays. I'm gonna be brief and say I prefer the DS over the PSP and what matters is that you can't make me change that.
Avenger, I don't care how much you yell in my face, I'm not gonna yell back. I'm gonna be as firm and calm as I can.
Might I finally add that you are not a true gamer.
mrinformed-so i'm pig headed han? you sound like some grade school geek! "oh your pig headed"...lol! and yea, tom and other dumbasses have been me "stuff" about the ds for a while....but you know what, they hav'nt given me much fact yet. seriously, all they tell me is there opinions!such as the "touch screen is good",the "dual screens give better gamplay" ,"the touch screen would be better with GPS than psp's controls".....all of these are opinions!
tom-i'm screaming in your face han?...cuz you know how thats posible considering were probably miles away from each other! you said "you prefer the ds and i can't make you change"? it sounds like your trying to re-assure yourself or block out the fact that psp is better!your probably having buyers remorse! but all i really want from you and mastermind is to tell me what ds has on psp...not opinions! because if ds really is better, you should be able to prove that with facts!
Guys, PSP is obviously better. You can go out and buy whatever you want and support whatever you want. But it doesn't change the fact that the Sony PSP is the better and the ultimate portable gaming machine. There's hardcore evidence in the specifications and performance that it outperforms the Nintendo DS in every aspect. Nintendo DS is completely different. It has two useless screens, and it can barely do more than play games without going out and buying extras. It is a kid's toy. The plastic handheld, games, and shoddy design all give into this theory. It's also still left in the last generation of portable gaming with its GBA SP-like graphics. The PSP is a guru when it comes to gaming and multimedia on-the-go. The PSP took it to the next level and caught up with the 21st century. It's an MP4 and amazing graphical game player.
