The Podcast 21 refuses to play for me. Is there something wrong with it?
Unfortunately sidekick II key registration is down... hope it goes back up ! I was about to cancel my sidekick service and get a data service for a PDA
Call it what you will, but it seems to me that Audible.com was delivering "podcasts" before there was even a pod to cast to. Since the late 90's, they've had audio programs that cab be automatically downloaded and snycronized to your PC, and MP3 players like the original Rio players. And of course, once the iPods came along, you could put them on there too.
Also of note when you regiter for your Dev key for a sidekick you sign way all support rights to the Sidekick
About the Class action suit! I second that. xxAA 's need to be fucking sued. Why is this DRM and DCMA thing is still on? I don't understand.
Phillip, just encourage people to buy the media players w/o the MS OS. that dvx-pod with the 7inch screen is AWESOME!
how do i get a transcript of this podcast, i have a sidekick II but i'm deaf so i can't hear cuz i'd like to know how to hack the sk2.
Heya,
Just to comment on Wal-Mart's policy, at least here in Canada, I've seen Wal-Mart selling Eminem's new CD and other CDs that are clearly labelled with blown up "Parental Advisory" labels.
Overall, great podcast, keep it coming.
I've written a decent RSS client for the Hiptop called HipNewsRSS that you can get from www.skdr.net if they ever bring the dev keys back online.
definately a good podcast.
as always, an alternate url, but this time it may be a bit slower, as it is being piped through my cable internet:

Thanx
