Samsung's 102-inch plasma TV
Alright, alright, alright, this war between Samsung, LG, and whoever else to see who can build the world's largest plasma TV has got to stop right now. Samsung, you just rolled out your new oversized 102-inch display, that's great, but we're already having trouble scraping together the $45,000 we'll need to buy the 80-inch plasma display you came out with a few months ago, so don't make things any worse for us, ok? How could we possibly be happy with the 80-incher knowing there was something a bigger and badder out there? You know we've sort of got this problem.

it only helps us, since it brings the older one's prices down!
and look how light it is! Those two little women can hold it up with just thier fingertips.
or-
It's just a regular 17" widescreen lcd monitor. The women are the world famous Krepowski Sisters, the smallest women on Earth.
Oh My, indeed. that thing is fcuking big. I was showing off the LG 71" you guys posted couple days ago. how this is FAT.
"The World Largest 102" Full HD PDP" That is clever, it will be the largest 102" Plasma Display in the world for ever until someone invents a 102" Plasma Display that is larger than 102".
all i need now is a wall big enough to embed it in. and a new dvd player, and a new dts decoder and some cool speakers and a phat sub and a new house and a porsche or like in the garage.
Then I'll have everything.
...but for how how long.... my wallet hurts
the girls aint even touching the thing, there just pointing, so they wont be "holding it up"
If someone gave this TV to me, I might actually be pleased for once in my life. Well, maybe not, but it would be nice to have. Remember, Limecat is NEVER pleased.
Well thats it then, the 80" PDP for the bedroom and the 102" for the family room. Cool, in fact give me two.....
I can see it now, We all spend the next 3 years scrounging up enough to finally buy this monster, and, right after we mortgage our lives away, someone gets halfway smart with OLED, and produces a 9600x5400 4m(157") roll-up screen with an in-wall frame and tuner box for a paltry 3,000 eu. Que the screams of agony.
I have died and gone to heaven...Two asian women...a huge HDTV...and the Matrix playing over and over. Now all I need is a gigantic remote for my gigantic TV.
You have to remember that standard HDTV resolution is stretched across this thing. The pixels are larger which means you have to sit back farther for it to look equivalent to a 50" plasma at half the viewing distance.
need to know how much it will cost me and were can i get this 102" plazma.thanxxx
Well, since this lists no native resolution, and i have yet to see any Plasmas that are natively better than 720P resolution - if this were actually 1080P or higher native resolution, then you wouldn't have to sit so far back. the bigger the better, as long as the native resolution follows suit!
The native resolution has nothing to do with the input signal. If the set can do 4000p, giving it a 1080p signal will look the equivalently sharp on a 50" set at half the distance compared to this 100" screen.
Yeah!!! Go Korea!! Korea kicks butts when it comes to technology!!! Korea Fighting!!! --;;; hehehehehe....Corea te amo, te quiero amor! hahahaha

"Yeah i have one of these hooked up to my falcon northwest... halflife 2 is pretty sick on it"
You sir/madame, are a fking moron
Very cool yes, but lets be honest, it aint gonna fit in mikes caravan, might have to give Tenby a miss.
it will fit in my caravan, its 103" long, perfect, i just gotta get rid of my giant 100" dvd player and giant 80" wide remote control first to squeeze it in, or i could just mount it on the roof and play porn to everyone down the highway. ideal.
imagine playing call of duty or battlefront 2 on this mother &@£%"$!! does it come with wall mount?
forget 102" thats old news -- its 103" now!

sheesh guys, who would watch a 102" when theres 103!!
Wow, you know what you could do? Go buy a 3,000 dollar projector, and a 102 inch screen for 1,000, get a 2,000 dollar zoom lense so you can put the projector close to the screen, and you would still be wayy under the outrageous price, and weight of this product. If a 56 inch plasma weighs 90 lbs, imagine what this beast must weigh.
