The HotSpot Poof
Oh NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, what wacky gadgets will you give us next? A HotSpot Poof that
inflates and deflates depending on nearby WiFi strength? Brilliant! Now how long will it be before you guys can come up
with something that we both want and that is useful? We're not holding our breath, but we're sure as hell
gonna hit up your winter show!

Check out a similar project by Parsons' Karen Lee from last year: http://www.hotspotbloom.com/
Hotspot Bloom is a wearable flower that glows and changes color to indicate the signal strength of a nearby wireless network (802.11b/g).

I'm guessing whoever named this the "poof" is not familiar with British slang...

My sentiments exactly rich, the same goes for Australian slang.

Same here for kiwi slang. I think. Sometimes I have trouble keeping up with Australians.
