Canadian iPod prices cut following ban on MP3 tax
Canadian iPod purchasers got a Christmas bonus in the form of a price cut on the audio players. The move, by Apple Canada and retailers Best Buy and Future Shop, was expected following last week's ruling by Canada's Federal Court of Appeal overturning the country's tax on digital audio players. A 20GB iPod is now C$399 ($321) at the online Apple store, down from C$429 ($346) last week.

That's Cool for the Canadian's. Another step towards iPod world domination. Go apple!

I should get refunded the 25$ I paid for this tax.
If it was proven that it was illeagle to charge it then everyone who paid it should be refunded
I wrote Apple (the Canada site is pathetic with regards to the Contact Us listings; had to make do with some old insider email contacts). I have been waiting since the day the law put its foot down... still not even a form reply.
I simply asked "how do I apply for a refund for the iPod collected levy purchased through the Apple Canada Online Store, or do you have information where I write regarding this issue".
Perhaps my old email list from post-Apple third party Specialist days is out of date... anyone else have a Canada email address we can flood with requests for our MONEY back??
