Ok, it's officially Christmas now, which means it's time to fess up: What'd you get? These days everyone we know is
afraid to buy us anything even remotely electronic (which is fine, they'd probably screw it up anyway), so we have no
choice but to live vicariously through you guys.

I got the best present of all. A new nephew, 8 lb, 6oz. Lots of gift cards for different stores.
finally got my iPod (40 gig) glothes, some DVDs (The Last Waltz, Hero, LOTR Triology extended edition, Napolean Dynamite) and CDs (Pink Floyd - DSOTM, The Wall, Phish - Roft, Umphrey's McGee - Nachor Drops).

A good christmas, one of my favorite....
An Airport Expres+Cables to compliment my recently bought 17in Powerbook and 40gb ipod (currently has 6700-ish songs).
Listening to brand new cranked over the surround right now... wireless is still just freaking cool.
I got a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W1, but i took it back and got a Canon Powershot S500, didn't want to use AA batteries. I got Spiderman 2, Seinfeld all 3 seasons, clothes, and stuff like that. Awsome Christmas
I got:
a dell 26" lcd tv
12" powerbook
half life 2
a couple cashmere sweaters and some other shirts.
oh and money
I got to spend time with my beautiful and amazing 22-month-old daughter and my wonderful wife who got me an iPod photo. Rock! Also some clothes and books and calendars and money.

I really shouldn't care about this so much but my christmas sucked. The best thing I got was a new printer from my girlfriend. it was down hill from there with a train wreck at the end with ugly clothes. It's a shame when the biggest techie in the house is the only one who doesn't get a new mp3 player. Granted I have an ipod- but come on- an itunes gift card or something. oh well- at least i got some money to pay off some of the presents that I bought for my family...
My christmas wasnt toooo bad.. I got a SONY Vaio VGN-S260, some cloth, shoes, webcam for laptop, a cool soccer ball, and some other techy stuff :) so id say pretty....darn good if you ask me :P
I got a Nokia bluetooth headset (for my ngage qd), a Clarion touch screen car stereo plus my wife paid to install that and a few 12's and an amp I already had, a few shirts, a $100 from my dad, some Nike shox (sp?), Polo boots, and a cool zip up hoodie from my grandpa, and a blaupunk (sp?) Sirius receiver from my brother (i just remembered he also got a 7" portable dvd player for my wife and I---the poloroid branded 1 that was less than $150 or something day after thanksgiving at walmart---fine for the car, but the battery is as thick as the player! Not that I mind much, it was still a nice gift))
I 4got an isight and a nose trimmer. The nose trimmer was truly the highlight of my Christmas. No more plucking!
I'm 24 and my girlfriend got me a Robosapien! She sure knows me. This thing is sweet. I'm excited to try hacking and modding it. I found a sweet controller program for Palm OS and some cool resource sites already.
Dell 2001FP. It's a beaut. Plus some cash. But man, looking at this monitor is a joy. Gadgets I bought for others: DVD burner for brother, XM radio (SkyFi 2) for my mother and the first season of 24 for my father. Oddly enough, the cheapest gift (24) is the most enjoyed thus far.

yes today was a good christmas i gotta 60g ipod photo and an i-trigue 3400 pc speaker system and that pretty much all the tech i got
I didn't ask for much but i got a philips DVP-642, a cheap subwoofer for my car to replace the even cheaper sub I blew out, a bunch of escher stuff, and my gf knit me a scarf which kicks major ass. My younger brother got an X-Box, so I got the gift of halo through osmosis :)
got myself a 20 gig, 4th gen iPod! :)

As for Gadgets, my wife recently 'talked me into' taking the xbox in and trading up on a new one (mine was an original purchased on day of release), and we're treating ourselves to satellite TV on Monday. w00t!
Woot. I got a Tivoli Model Three Alarm Clock / AM FM Radio, and the matching Model Three second speaker / alarm clock setup. Very sweet. Only problem - I had to buy it for myself :(. From the family, no tech stuff, which is probably a good thing. My dad bought me a strange gift - a replica 1955 TBird car, 1/18th scale (why he bought it, I dunno - I'm not into cars or replicas at all). My g.f. bought me a 1940s vintage leather flying jacket. My best friend bought me a bottle of Illy Espresso Liqueur... mmmmmm.
The Tivoli rawks. Amazing sound, and with the iPod hooked up to it, it's an awesome bedtime / morning treat.
Hmm... I got a bonus from work which, after taxes & withholding (daaamn, they take a lot!) left me with a hair over $2K.
With that I bought
- Treo 600 for my wife
- AMD64 3500+ w/MSI board & 1GB DDR 400 RAM for me
- Kyocera Finecam S5R 5 megapixel camera for both of us
- Two sexy pieces of lingerie for my wife from VictoriaSecret.com which she picked out (not yet arrived)
- Stuff for family
- Paid a couple bills, had some nice dinners out
- Other random stuff
And best of all this was the first Christmas in our own house! Home ownership rocks.
