Sony's DSC-T33 updates the CyberShot T3

Though we've all pined here for a Sony DSC-T1, T11, or
T3, but nothing, and we mean nothing, could possibly make
us jump ship from SD to MemoryStick; we've had this conversation with Sony many times. But if we were to consider it,
doubtful it'd be the for the DSC-T33, Sony's update of the T3. Apparently all the specs remain the same, but the camera
housing is spiced up a little and now comes in other colors: blue, cream, and red, all really ugly. Don't expect to see
these any time soon, and definitely don't even think about importing one, tsk tsk.

Don't pine too much - I only use mine outdoors because the red eye is the worst I've ever experienced with a digital camera. I'm told it has something to do with squeezing the flash into such a narrow camera... whatever!
Red Eye is caused by the flash being to close to the lens of the camera. The more the flash can get away from the lense, the less Red Eye.
That is why a pro Camera has a Flash sitting so high away from the body of the camera.
Has nothing to do with how thin the camera is!
I hate to break it to you guys, but you will ALL be buying Memory Sticks soon, weather you like it or not! The PSP doesn't do SD.
But look on the bright side, at least the newly found demand should make the prices come down... in theory... right? (-clicks over to Ebay to buy one NOW)

OMG..i just bought a new DSC-T3 and they already coming with update? i hate this.. I don't know if i can exchange it from where i bought it (gadgetflava.com)..I feel like im outdated now..
Well, if you already have the DSC-T3, feel good that it remains the SMALLEST version of these T1 spin offs. The new DSC-T33 is the same size as the DSC-T11 at 103x60x17 mm, which is larger than the T3. The T3 is smallest at 90x60x18 mm.
T3 is the smalles BUT !!! The T33 is the lightest ..
Accourding to the specs in dpreview , the T33 weights only 150g (5.3 oz) !!!
And the T11 weights 186g (6.6 oz) ..
"Does the size matters? or maybe the weight ? " :) . You can choose ..
It just seems that if Sony enlarged the camera size in a NEWER model , it was because of a problem in one of the miniature components in the T3 ...
Can someone please say something positive about this camera? I just bought one. Make me feel good about it, please. Let me start. It's really light, and the magnifying glass option is impressive.
I've got the T33 & I love it. I've also got a 40gig ipod photo & the ipod camera connector. I've managed to connect them all together but nothing happens. The camera acts like it's not connected, same for the ipod. Mac based so thought it would be straight forward!?
Any ideas help anything, anyone, PLEASE!!!
It is an excellent camera.
My only complaint is the small amount of widening at the sides of group photographs.Please advise.
