LG F9100 pics
Our pals over at MobileBurn have a bunch of pics of the LG F9100, that new cellphone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that's targeted at all those crazy young people who love them some text messaging (and is certainly intended as a competitor for both the Sidekick 2 and the Motorola A630). Other than that keyboard you probably won't be blown away, there's no Bluetooth and the 128x160 pixel LCD looks a little on the eye-straining side. Due out from Cingular, probably within the next few months or so.

I'm waiting to see what the so-called Apple/Motorola iPhone looks like before committing to a new ringer.
Of course, even if it offers messaging, it might take years for it to come available on the Verizon network, which I'm tethered to until October 2005. What's the deal with Verizon and their crappy phone selections?
I guess they feel that since they have the best network, they don't need to compete in the realm of handsets. If they did, they would be unstoppable...
I did a market research study on text messaging cell phones and this was one of the phones they made us try. Not only is it hideous, the interface on the phone is awful too.
It was the worst phone of the bunch.
