Engadget arrives at the Consumer Electronics Show
Team Engadget rolled into Las Vegas yesterday for five and a half days of obsessive coverage of this week's Consumer Electronics Show. Best part about getting there early is that there are tons of sweet electronics there for the taking.

All I can say is that I'm major jealous. Having done CES from 1992 to 2001, I've missed it the last 3 years and wish I were going this year. Hopefully 2005 will allow me to attend the show in 2006... especially if they are giving away LG plasmas as schwag.
I look forward to your reports. Enjoy any open bar parties you can.
engadget guys look scene as ever
i hope you guys got my address in the e-mail i sent so you know where to send the plasma too...
have fun guys...
so you guys get the tv for free???
Oh... the plasma TVs?!?!
Those are in the press gift bags... everyone gets one!
Suuuuuuurrre.
Wow.. they give those away?!
cant wait for reports

No way... and I thought Peter was kidding.
Since when is it ok to carry plasma screens upside down? It must be a new feature LG is bringing out.
"Dude! This one will sell cheap. They've printed the box upside down."
i totally dig the elbow patches and man-purse! scene, for real.
For those of us lucky enough to attend, you should post a "best of" page that lists booth numbers for places we don't' want to miss...
Also, maybe a "best of car audio babes" page that lists the pinup girls you don't want to leave the showroom floor without getting an autographed poster for your brother or dad. (I think I left last year with no less than 8 bimbo posters to give to my friends as gifts...they are big hits - especially with my RC friends who put them up near their tracks)
How did you get around the "no bloggers" thing?
Thanks for the coverage, BTW.
