Video Without Boundaries announces MediaREADY x40 Personal Media Extender
Video Without Boundaries will be showing off their Linux-based MediaREADY x40 Personal Media Extender at CES this week. The extender connects to any television and can receive digital media from either a MediaREADY 4000 or 5000 (pictured at right) or a PC on the same home network. It doesn't look like any price or release date has been announced yet but we'll keep our eyes peeled.

That thing has so many freakin inputs I bet it would network with a toaster oven. Damn.
Wow looks nice, I hope they go with some open protocol for the backend!
The MediaReady 4000 has been out for close to a year and you can't find many reviews on it. This looks like an excellent product (as well as the 4000 and 5000 products). I look forward to seeing more information about it on their website (which currently doesn't mention it) and elsewhere!
