Nokia N-Gage dropped from sales charts
While the N-Gage isn't completely dead yet (you can still
get them for free with a contract), the gaming cellphone is selling so poorly that UK's ChartTrack has removed the unit
from their ELSPA charts, citing sales so bad that the unit is no longer relevant. For those not in the know, the
ELSPA chart tracks gaming sales on weekly and monthly bases. We don't normally quote, but check out what they
had to say about the sidetalking Nokia gaming phone: "The N-Gage chart, though still produced, is of little interest to
anyone. Sales of the machine and its software have failed to make any impact on the market at all." We also
wouldn't normally use leetspeek, but…pwn3d!

I'm sure the 8 people who bought the N-Gage are very disappointed that they will now have to coordinate their places of residence and commutes so that they can get a return on their ungodly investment. When will people learn that when making a hybrid anything, you can't take the crappy parts of both to get something good. A crappy cellphone/crappy handheld is not going to make a great addition to the digital boy's utility belt.
Case in point-
Rap rock. It's not good rap, and it's not good rock. Where is Fred Durst now? Yeah, that's what I thought.

"No longer relevent?" When was it ever relevent?
I remember an employee at a game store condescendingly explaining how it was going to change the world. I think I'll ask him if his store still stocks them next time...

It was a mistake from getting the green light to develop the phone. It would be really smart for one cell phone manufactures to strike a deal with Nintendo for getting and adaptor to play their games on the phone. It would benefit both parties.
