Two more Hello Kitty cellphones
Ok, so maybe Nokia got the first crack at creating a Hello Kitty cellphone, but Taiwanese manufacturer OKWAP (we won't spend much time dwelling on the absurdity of their name, but just think about it for a second) obviously couldn't resist getting on that sweet Sanrio licensee action either and has come out with a Hello Kitty-themed cellphone of their own. Two of them actually, both of which are clamshell-style cameraphones. Sounds like someone in the UK just imported them from Taiwan, but there's the A267, which comes with a built-in VGA quality camera, and the i516, which bumps the camera up to a megapixel and has an integrated FM radio and a 262,000 color internal screen. What, no Bad Badtz Maru phone?

It's my understanding from a friend who is a Badz Maru otaku that BM was deprecated some time ago

I also heard from an employee of the Sanrio store that Badtz Maru had been "retired".
