LG introduces new line of side-by-side refrigerators
LG's introduced a new line of gadget-heavy refrigerators with a slick side-by-side design. Cleverly called the LG Side-by-Side Refrigerator, the fridges can keep food cold even when the door is opened frequently and come loaded with a digital LCD display, digital cooling system, and a BioShield Anti-Bacteria Gasket (some reason this last one makes us actually not want to eat food stored in this refrigerator). Not to mention a pizza nook. Mmm, pizza nook. They're now available in a variety of models ranging in price from $1,249 to $2,199.

What?! No Windows 2000 in the door?
Crashing your fridge while crashing your diet won't be the same anymore!
...and hacking it with a webcam to see who got that last beer, um, er... frostly beverage!

I suspect that these are rebranded Samsumg models, which can be found in most of the larger Costco stores in the U.S.
All the features noted (anti-bacteria, "pizza-nook", LCD, etc.) along with the Side-by-side orientation make this all very likely.
I believe this is the same model, which can be seen at Bestbuy.com: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?j=1&CategoryID=cat05004&id=1075583596909&skuId=6322384&type=product&ref=05&loc=01

Rebranded Samsung? Uh, I dont think so. LG and Samsung are arch-rivals in their home country of South Korea. Rebranding is the last thing that will happen.
