That hay fever that's plaguing you? Blame it on your cellphone
A researcher in Japan says that cellphones can exacerbate allergies because the microwaves emitted from cellphones
stimulate antigens in the bloodstream. His controlled experiment probably won't be appearing in the New England Journal
of Medicine anytime soon (he had some people with allergies talk on their cellphone while watching a video, while a
control group of allergy sufferers had their phones turned off), but this would explain all the hives that
appear all over our body every time the phone rings. We don't even have to turn the ringer on anymore, we can just
"feel" when someone's calling.
P.S. - Anyone out there know how to say "junk science" in Japanese?

Don't EVER post that picture again.
At least not this close to lunch.

There may be another explaination ... the plastics the phones are made of. Many people have allergic reactions to petro-chemical based plastics (like me, for instance). They're mild in comparison to hay fever, but might not help a person with other allergies.

siliconchef is a petro-chemical based plastic?
Personally, I have never had an allergic reaction to petro-chemical based plastics like him or anybody else.

Your comments: Hrm, Lingo seems to be off-line ... the grammar is weak with this one, Obi-Wan. Where's that pesky paperclip & his green underlines when I really need them?
I'll check my ingredients label too see exactly how much plastic I contain. :)
