Man robs doughnut shop with a laser pointer

We'd previously thought that those little laser pointer thingies were only useful for teasing housepets or arousing the ire of the FAA, but someone's found a new one: robbing doughnut shops. Wearing a pillowcase with eyeholes cut out of it and waving around a laser pointer, a guy in Metairie, Louisiana managed to make off with the contents of the safe at the local Tastee Donuts. The culprit is still at large.
a donut shop? c'mon. the cops should be all over this one!
I don't know what's funnier. The story, or the comment above me. ^-^
Was it the donut guy from the old Dunkin Donuts commercials? I hear he's been upset for years that his contract wasn't renewed.

Don't forget, those laser pointers are also really good for irritating movie theater patrons.
Wow, the stupidity of the average Tastee Donuts employee and patron must be staggering. Which probably just goes to show that people in general are effing idiots.
