HP's convertible-style TC4200 Tablet PC
They're aiming this primarily at their business customers, but HP is finally coming out with its first
convertible-style Tablet PC. The ungainly-looking TC4200 has a 12.1-inch LCD screen, either an Intel Pentium M
processors 730 to 770 or Intel Celeron M processor 370, up to an 80GB hard drive, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, SD memory card
slot.

What's a convertible-style?
A notebook that turns into a tablet. I.e., a tablet with keyboard.
“Convertible” refers to the style of the TabletPC. The two major styles are Convertibles (Like the TC4200) that are Laptops with screens that twist around so you can write on it, and Slates, that don’t have keyboards. There other TabletPC (TC1100) is the best mix IMHO of the two, it has a removable keyboard.
It means you can change it from a notebook form to a slate. Which means its heavier than a slate (which has no keyboard) but can be comfortable for extended laptop reading, is handy for travel since it takes less space, and allows you to use portrait mode.
This model is a nod to the Toshiba M200, except the m200 has a nice 1400x1050 screen, even though its viewing angles aren't so good.
I have an exclusive review of the TC4200 with many photos for those interested over at: www.tc-one-thousand.com
