Pantech & Curitel's PH-L4000V camcorderphone

Almost more camcorder than phone, Pantech & Curitel is coming out with a very, very thick new 2.1 megapixel cameraphone called the PH-L4000V that can record "camcorder-quality" video clips to a mini MMC memory card and has a 2x optical zoom lens. Click to see a bunch more pics.

By definition all camcorders record "camcorder quality" video, but is it sucky camcorder or high-end camcorder. Probably not the latter.

It's a pity only mobile phone manufacturer are adding other product features in their phones, and not camcorder/camera/music player/etc manufacturers adding phone functionality in their devices.

I for one would like a good digital camera with simple phone functionality.

Juice - Dont you really rate the S700 range ? I have the 700i and Im so over it. It does nothing but take pictures and make calls. What gives you the horn about it ? :)

Juice. how do you know it won't have a headphone jack? there are no shots of the bottom of it, or the jack could be under a rubber plug.

There is little info on the PH-L4000V: the main screen supports up to 262K colors, the recorded files can be stored on miniMMC memory cards, FM-radio, MP3-player and 64-tones polyphony. The phone measures 88.5x54.2x25.45 mm. the company haven�t provided more details.
