TiVo releases annual Super Bowl viewer stats
Remember last year when TiVo really made it well known how they were collecting aggregate usage statistics, and that Janet Jackson's "costume malfunction" was the most instant-replayed moment in TiVo history? Well, this year's TiVo Super Bowl stats are out, and you'll be interested to know that the three most watched and replayed moments were the GoDaddy.com commercial (no surprise there, you pervs), MVP-voting instructions, and that interception in the 4th quarter. The low point (pre-game excepted) seemed to be after Paul McCartney finished Hey Jude (seriously, nothing can top Hey Jude, so we understand why everyone moved on).

Haha, that's hilarious.
Why did the NFL get upset with the godaddy.com commercial? It wasn't that bad.
this is why tivo should be paying me instead of the other way around.
oh wait, tivo basic is free, i'm too cheap for the full service.
The graph is very confusing. The label says "realtime viewership" and then the y-axis says "% of audience in play speed".
But if the graph is really about "realtime" isn't 100% of the audience in "play speed"? i.e., how can you fast-forward to something that hasn't happened yet.
So, either bad labels, or bad graph. Still, cool data and I'm glad they provide.
And just like last year, this lack of privacy doesn't affect anyone!
I don't see your name on that graph, so there must be some privacy.
Privacy can't be guaranteed on services! Wouldn't you'd like your internet provider to stop someone who was sucking down bandwidth that was affecting you?
"Since we don't know who it is, lets start stopping service to individuals until we find the right one... since they're all anonymous!"
oh well...
