The PEBL V6 we heard about the other day? (Seriously,
you can't keep a phone like that under wraps.) Well, we've got the skinny on it since Moto's announced it at ; you
ready for the specs? That smooth ovular shape hides tri-band (either 850/1800/1900 or 900/1800/1900) GSM/GPRS/EDGE
capabilities (meaning Cingular—not T-Mobile—will probably get it again), a 262k color 176x220 display, Bluetooth, an
MPEG4 VGA video camera, POP3 and IMAP-compatible email app, MP3 ringtone support, 5MB internal memory and a 96x32
vertical external display—expect it in the second half of this year. Oh, and that 1.93 x 3.41 x 0.79-inch sized
skipping-stone feature will still be present in the final release, in case you still want it.

does it support memory cards, it better with only 5 megs onboard. so cheap
I'm for anything that fits more comfortably in my front pocket. Not every phone needs all the latest and greatest features.
Sounds and looks to me like a just slightly modified v600.
I Can't wait for the Motorola V6..it looks so cool. Anyone know when it is coming out for sale?

Actually the V600 is a quad band which allows use overseas... this thing is only Tri brand. It is attractive though, so if the price is right it could be a hot seller. Wish they would up the res on the camera though. Most likely it will be out in May/June.
Does anyone know what carriers will support this new phone?

The last comment is correct, T-Mobile NOT Cingular will be the sole carrier for the phone on the initial launch date. It is also actually a quad band phone, doesn't make sense for Motorola to fall back to a tri-band phone with this many features when simple phones {i.e. the V188) are quad band as well. The only thing I can't confirm but through information updates through our intranet is that the phone is most likely going to be released in 3 different colors. This picture does not do this phone justice at all the sheer external design of the phone is incredible, not the brushed metal like a Razr and definitely not the shiney cheap V600 business either, it is more of a unique matte finish, closest comparison on a phone I can find at this point would be the edges of the V551 or the outside shell of the V330 but structurally more solid as compared back to the newer release design of the Razr. That is all the information I know of at this point, I will try and write back if I find the actual price on the phone. Oh and last information received in the last 2 days was the release date approx Dec - Q1...kinda broad at this point but best info I have received. Hope that helps someone.

If u get it unlocked any carrier should work fine. I have Cingular and it worked just fine. The price is ranged from $575-$599 depend on where u buy it. U should be able to get it at some of the world phones stores, especially Vietnamese.
PEBL is now up on T-mobile site as "Comming soon". There's a nice pic under "specs" if you click the enlarge button. Don't be fooled by the no picture available.
That said. I'd guess the PEBL will be on sale in the next few days. I've never known Tmob to list a phone before they start selling it.
