Motorola's Special-Edition Black RAZR V3

See, we knew they weren't going to keep us shut out on this one. Officially announcing the Special-Edition Black RAZR V3 today at 3GSM, we now know that though you have to be one of this year's Oscar nominees to get one today, they'll be on a worldwide release "very soon." Oh, and the specs will be the same—the case is just, well, black.

I have had this Razrand HS-810 for a month now.It is AWSOME!Glad to see it back in Black as the silver is so yesterday for all electronics. Would have liked to see it without the camera as it is poor to say the least.MOT is following the trend to make a phone do a little of everything and it does most very well! Clearest sound with and with out the bluetooth HS-810 But NO cords way-cool! could have more memory but, need to keep in mind that this is a PHONE and not a pda or computer.yea, it reminds us of the startac and for MOT thats spelled CA-CHING! The price is a bit high but this thing rocks....

The V3 looks nice... BUT THAT IS ALL!!! I have had mine for one month now, and I am very sorry that I got it! It does NOT sync with Microsoft Outlook (so much for the PDA pitch), and getting access to the internet can prove to be more trouble than what it is worth, (Stick to internet cafes) In short, wait until NEXT year, before you invest in one of these!

The razr V3 is..... not great. Sure, it looks REALLY NICE, but that is it. The key pad looks AMAZING, but the functions are really lacking. IT DOESNT EVEN RECORD VIDEO!!, some phones that are half the price do that. It's really not worth the 500$. Well, I got mine off some matrix thing on the net, took almost 8 months lol, but i got it eventually. Sold it on ebay for 480$, got a great deal i think.

I am having serious problems with my second V3. The bluetooth won't connect or says "bluetooth module not attached" and then won't allow me to even sync it. Or if it is attached, sometimes it won't let me toggle and keeps sending me back to my home page. I am aggravated and no one on this earth can help me!

I bought this phone yesterday for about US$450. Totally worth it. I'm not an advanced user who require loads of high tech stuff but I do require a phone with a style. And this BLACK V3 has got it all for me. Perfect. Who needs big memory to store MP3 while you could simply buy an iPod which works a trillion times better. And why do you need a megapixel cam when you can buy one for fifty bucks. And don't argue "just in case u didn't carry ur mp3 player or ur digicam".

I have had this phone since before it came out to the general public. My father is one of the VP's of engineering for Cingular and I can say Ive had about every phone on the market and this far surpasses any of them. The size, design and functionality of this phone has been top notch since the day Motorola sent it to me...It may be expensive but for those who love their gadgets I feel its a must have. Considering I can have any phone out there, I would take this phone everytime!!!

i agree "ben" and "me". this phone ROCKS!! lol. i'm tired of the bad reviews so let's keep it real, look ppl, if u want all the full functions and features of bluetoothing,sync-ing,digital camera,etc....read my lips, GO OUT AND BUY A PDA,DIGITAL CAM,MP3 PLAYER,LAPTOP,ETC. it's a PHONE ppl, and CALLING is its PRIMARY function. it does a little of everything, and it does it with style,most phones cant say that, so give the ppl at motorola a little credt GEEZ.

i have a v3 and this phone appeals to the public for some reason i dont know why. the v3 has no memory slot, no video recording, no video conferencing, no radio. i give it full credits for it design. but for this expensive price the v3 has no features.
