Our good friend Ethan Rasiel is in Cannes this week attending the big 3GSM World Conference trade show, and we
managed to convince him to send back a few pics of what he'd seen there.
That's the Siemens yacht pictured above. Despite their recent, uh, difficulties in the mobile business, that company
still rolls deep.

The "yacht" that Siemens has is actually a converted car ferry (!). They've used it for a couple of years as room and board for the Siemens folks at the conference. I was at GSMWC two years ago, and the Siemens guys were actually pretty grumpy about the accomodations. You had to wait around to be shuttled over to the "yacht" on a little boat, and the accomodations were less-than-stellar, apparently.
