Samsung washing machine disinfects, doesn't wrinkle clothes
Yes, it's a washing machine, but bear with us, it's cooler than you think. Samsung has managed to concoct a washing machine that not only disinfects your clothes while washing them but it doesn't wrinkle them either. (Koreans and disinfecting gadgets? Why, we never!) Granted, we're not inclined to believe this just because there's some girl holding what appears to be a freshly dry-cleaned and starched shirt next to this washing machine, but Samsung hasn't let us down before. Just combine this with some soap-free cleaning and we'll be in futuristic clothes-washing bliss. Well, a robot that collects clothes off the floor would be nice. Robots make everything better.

"My husband, some hotshot... ancient Chinese secret eh?"
Years and years and years ago I remember someone hawking the advent of sonics for cleaning. This was the late 80s, if that; it was anticipated that by the end of the century, that water-based cleaning of clothes would be kaput and that you'd need just a single machine to do laundry, since there was no water involved. If memory serves, it was also said that wrinkles wouldn't be a problem because of advances in the textile industry.
Yup. Yup. Yup.
*monotone metallic voice* robots ... make ... everything ... better ...
This thing is not available in the US, I guess, but be sure not to miss Samsung's Canadian web site:
"Due to nature of the programmers in many washing machines, bigger articles are only partially cleaned - leaving large areas still soiled, and users unhappy with the performance of their washing machine..."

MR DS Hater...
lmfao
how do you spell AC DC?
Samsung has had detergent-free washing cycles for years now. A common misconception is that lots of soap = cleaner clothes. But I'm skeptical about doing laundry with no liquid involved -- you need something to extract the dirt/oil, whether it be water or perc in the case of drycleaning.
Man you americans will believe anything huh. I'm an american living in korea. You cant believe half the things that come out of their press machines. Its totally okay to lie to the public here. That washing machine does no such thing. I have a smaller version of that and it sucks. and as for this

Thats a bunch of crap...unless he is talking about the rinse cycle but all washers have that. Korean washers are freaking small so they don't need so much soap. North Korea and South Korea operate on the same ideas tell the people what they want to know and they can get what they want. Koreans are also saying that they are going to dump the dollar. That would be suicide for them. Most of their dollar reserves are from before the IMF. At the IMF they were 800 won to 1 dollar. So they are going to trade the dollar away on a short? This is just so lame what is happening right now. Get a life and learn what is going on. The staple of asian society lying.
That shirt belongs to the biggest Korean dude ever.
What if the shirt is already wrinkled when it goes into the washing machine?
Oh, duh! I iron it BEFORE I wash it!
we have this machine already in England it sucks. I have sold sevral on http://www.appliances.co.uk but we have had customers saying that there shirts are still coming out with wrinkles.
