Airfoil - Stream from any app to your AirPort Express

Ok, so back in December Rogue Amoeba announced they were coming out with a new app called
Slipstream that would let you stream audio to the AirPort
Express from any program (not just iTunes). Well, just over two months later they've finally released the app, only now
it's called Airfoil. Only compatible with Macs for the moment, but they admit that sooner or later they'll have to port
this to Windows.

There is latency with the AirPort Express isn't there? So you couldn't use this to play the audio from a movie or anything.
...my xm pcr says it wants this. now.
I just downloaded this, it's awesome. Andy, yeah, the APE has latency in it, but the manual explains a way to get around this using mplayer. I'm testing it now, it seems to work, just requires some setup. This is sweet.
Nice, I hope Apple doesn't release a 'firmware' update to the Express that will disable this app.
I want an app to do the opposite, to be able to accept a APE stream and play it on my speakers. I don't want to have to buy an APE, but I want to use AirTunes!
I want an App that does the opposite also. Unfortunately from what I've read about the encrypted handshake iTunes and Airport Express make, it's easy to stream audio to it, but not easy to fake being one.

I tryed it out too. Works great I streamed tunes from my roady to my bedroom. I can't quite see paying $20 for the #1 requested feature for the Airport Express. Apple's bound to fix their mistake sooner or later. They've talked about doing it before.
Windows version is much needed...
