To be honest, most of the reviews of the
m:robe 500i, that new 20GB
digital audio player/digital camera hybrid dealy from Olympus, have been, um, on the negative side, but we figured we'd
round 'em up for ya anyway:

Right after I saw the first commercial I said 'That's really going to suck'. I guess I'm not the only one that feels that way.
There's that battery life bugaboo again: 90 minutes for looing at pictures is pathetic: who can power through them with family in such a short amount of time? For such a relatively large unit, it's difficult to understand why the drain is so high, and why they couldn't use a larger-capacity battery.
It looks like an interesting and potentially viable concept that is let down by substandard execution.
