AOL launching VoIP Internet Phone Service

They couldn't be bothered to mention any of the important details, like, you know, what it's going to cost, but AOL did announce yesterday that within the next month or so they will definitely be launching a new VoIP service called AOL Internet Phone Service. The service will only be available to AOL and Time Warner cable subscribers (at least at first), but it does sound like they're going to follow the Vonage route and offer both a softphone (which will be integrated with your AIM buddy list) and an analog telephone adapter that let you make calls with a regular phone. Or something like that.
