The SXG75, first 3G cellphone from Siemens
Weren't we mumbling something yesterday about Siemens
soldiering on and coming out with some 3G cellphones? Oh yeah, they rolled out the first one today, the SXG75, a
UMTS-compatible handset with a 2.2-inch, 240x320 pixel, 262,000 color LCD screen, integrated GPS, a 2 megapixel digital
camera for taking still pics, a 2nd camera on front for video calls, a built-in FM tuner, and MP3 player software. They
should be announcing another 3G cellphone within about four weeks.

Strange how the press pics all look like the phone's been hideously photoshopped in each person's hand...specs seem great, though. Siemens used to be so good in interface and phone design, hopefully this model will avoid the software glitches that plagued their recent stuff.
Here's a list of some more Siemens models you can update the article with:

SXG75 is not first 3G Siemens. Before there was U10 and U15. All 3G Siemens phones are made by cooperation with Motorola.
You mean all Siemens phones WERE made by Motorola the sxg75 is made purely by Siemens and probably the last one that was made just by Siemens as Siemens is partering with Benq.
so sad the last pure germany phone i can buy
