Motorola releases the Digital Sharapova Experience

Motorola's Digital Sharapova Experience

We're beginning to think they've really lost it this time: if you're one of the many nameless Internet-dwelling Russian-tennis-girl fetishists out there (hey, no Kournikova vs. Sharapova comments, aight?), has Motorola ever got the gimmick for you. The Digital Sharapova Experience is apparently "the place to get exclusive access to Maria Sharapova's active lifestyle" (oh, good lord), and you too can join her "exclusive digital entourage" (same as everyone else—obviously very exclusive). We'll try and retain composure here. Ahem. So they have these "Webisodes", reality clips of Maria hanging with fans, and a "Digital Locker" with ringtones, and phone screensavers and the like, an "Ask Maria" fan mail section, and, of course, a The Maria World Tracker, set to follow her many stops around the world. Seriously, just when we thought Moto was starting to let their products speak for themselves—you can probably hear us grinding our teeth, can't you? Coming in April, 18,000 years from now (seriously, that's a screen pic from their site).
