Vodafone and Toshiba team up on the TS 921

Toshiba Vodafone TS 921

You don't hear much about Toshiba cellphones (at least not outside of Japan), but apparently they've decided to go steady with European carrier Vodafone. The two have announced a "strategic 3G handset partnership", which sounds impressive, but which basically means that Toshiba is going to make phones for Vodafone to sell. The first fruit of this new relationship has already flowered in the form of the the TS 921, a tri-band 3G handset with a 1.92 megapixel digital camera, a 2.4-inch LCD screen, and an SD expansion card slot. Should be out sometime in the second quarter.
