Interact-TV TeraTelly GS1250 gets dual-layer DVD burning

Interact-TV will soon be shipping their TeraTelly GS1250 digital entertainment server with a dual-layer, multi-format DVD/CD burner (it previously only came with a DVD-ROM drive, ya dig?).  So now when you've somehow managed to filled up all 1.2 terabytes of storage (you gotta love you some TV), you can easily back it up to DVDs instead of having to first transfer it to a PC for burning.  No word yet on how much extra it's going to cost, but if you're dropping a couple of grand on a terabyte of storage to begin with, does it really matter?

Looks like that's basically just a PC in a Silverstone LC04 case, see here: http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-lc04.htm

I actually was thinking about buying one of these cases myself but it only allows for two total expansion slots via riser card. Still a nice case, though, and if everything's built onto the motherboard in this TeraTelly thing then it's not really a drawback.

I do wonder, though, how they're fitting three 400GB drives and a DVD writer in a case with only one 3.5" and one 5.25" drive bay. Is this really what it's going to look like or is their photo "for illustrative purposes only"? It seems to me that the machine would have to be bigger than this. Silverstone make other, similar looking cases that are bigger than the LC04 but obviously not as sleek (due to the extra bulk).

A-ha - I answered my own question. The pic above is the MC1200, which just has an 80GB hard drive. No pics that I could find of the TeraTelly. Here's the Telly online store page: http://www.buyatelly.com/store/
