Newgen @ CTIA - T1000
Whoa, where the hell did these guys come from? We're not going to pretend like the Newgen T1000 is the greatest handset we've ever seen or anything, but for a totally unknown Korean cellphone manufacturer to bust out a 3.3 x 1.88 x 0.61-inch handset with a 260k color 176 x 220 pixel 2.2-inch touch screen, handwriting recognition, VGA camera, and dual-band GPRS, well, we'll just say we're pretty freaking impressed, and leave it at that.

looks like that phone/hybrid thing NEC came out with years ago.
It looks like the Nec N500... physically the same.
Am I supposed to be impressed by a 176 x 220 pixel screen?
but cheaper...i hope!
I wish it was an mp3 player
It's just a rebadged NEC N500 which is a pretty cool phone actually. If only it was QUAD band I would buy it. The PDA touchscreen is pretty sweet and it's not friggen huge like the other PDA phones.
