Pressure Drop presents DecoDock iPod shuffle dock
Good lord. As if it weren't bad enough that Apple is bothering to make
iPod shuffle docks (yeah we know some folks can't plug
directly into USB, but whose fault is that in the first place, 'mmkay?), we are now to be subjected this, uh, "artsy"
third-party DecoDock from Pressure Drop, makers of the
PaperHub. Yeah, perhaps it will absolve you from reaching
around in some ungainly squat position to find ye olde USB port if you're not hooking in to a Mac with a spare USB port
on the keyboard or CPU front. But need it look like an abandoned set piece from Superman III? Or perhaps the cover
image from some unpublished Ayn Rand novel? Well, just call us the yokels who aren't hip with the "Art-Techo movement,"
then.
[Thanks, Joel!]

Yes it does look cool, but isn't the point of a $100 player to do things on the cheap?
Deco-pod anyone?
hmm i submitted this at like 10 this morning, but props to Joel for whatever. anyways, i think its looks pretty cool but i dont have a shuffle.
I just ran my "DecoDock by Pressure Drop" into my "DecoSphere by Airwick" and I am fairly sure I now have increased capability.
Best looking dock I have seen yet. Keep the quality products coming!

Hey mr tspot, you've already been warned once to stop spamming!
On topic, we saw this thing at MacWorld SF but they had it behind everything so you couldn't look at it and they didn't tell us what it did. They just said "isn't it cool?" Er, whatever.
This looks like it came from the Fortress of Solitude in the Christopher Reeve Superman film. Nice to see that Engadget is broadening its coverage to include Kryptonian technology.
Gee, I hope they paid Apple their 10% cut of that god awful waste of disposable income.
Geez does every body and their uncles have a Blog? Every time I try and read User Comments on these different articles, I get eye spam from tons of peoples different sites. If u want too rank/talk, phone up your friends, If you want too run an internet site, then network and obtain traffic that way. If you have too resort too spamming along with your comments then maybe u should not be running a website?
Dear TheTspoT Admin,
PLEASE STOP SPAMMING HERE. I WILL, EMPHASIZE WILL, KILL YOU.
ha When the gadgets just suck, we simply focus our boredom, till the next gadget is posted, towards yelling at the donkeys who name spam. TbagspoT, leave us alone, we get that you have a crappy website you "need" to promote. Hooray, we're all cynics here (basically, cynically speaking of course) and we just want our gadget fix without having to clench our teeth every time we see you.... or Carmi.
Y'know, I think it's getting a bit outta hand here... it's two lines of effing text per comment!
Are you guys *so* frigging petty that you have to get all angry and waste 20 times the screen estate yelling at these two poor shmucks? Really, why the hell are you so pissed off at such a little thing? Grow a maturity complex, why don't you. There's a remarkable capacity in the human brain for TUNING ANNOYING THINGS OUT - IGNORE IT IF YOU LIKE, BUT DON'T SCREW WITH THE REST OF US BY BITCHING ENDLESSLY!
Suntiger maybe you can ignore it as our society slowly pushes more and more ads into our face. Even you know that if you give someone an inch, they try and take a mile, and if taking a little time out of my day too rant at these spammers, shows that I wont just push over and ignore it, then so be it.
I am subject too hundreds of ads every day, I really dont need too view them when reading peoples views on articles. Honestly it might not be a big deal, but its really something that doesnt need too be there. Plus you kind of question why these people even post comments, is it that they actually have something meaningful too contribute? Or are they trying too get the SpotLight?
I love ayn rand! nice comparison, stupid dock
Has anyone else noticed that it seems like Engadget and Gizmodo have finally made peace with each other?
I dont know about this... I am a little confused of what this does.
That loser Howard Roarke couldn't have cared less.
That's stupid
Just came across this from a search. Looking back, its kind of funny. A shuffle dock.LOL I love retro!
