Philips unveils DVDR7200 with Freeview and HDMI

Philips has unveiled its latest DVD recorder for the UK market, the DVDR7200.  Not so interesting, you say?  Well, as it turns out this is one of the few recorders with a built-in Freeview decoder, which means it can record programs broadcast on the free digital terrestrial TV service. And it has HDMI so all your favorite Beeb broadcasts will look squeaky clean. Look for it in shops sometime in May for an even £400.

Is this like the Sony DVD recorder with Freeview tuner excep the Sony one is only �299 ?

Yes, but the Sony one doesn't have HDMI, only S-Video, SCART, optical and the usual.

Is there any news on the philips freeview recorder as it 26th may and no word . Does any one know anything ?
