Project Annihilation: Death of an iTrip
Some companies make you jump through hoops to get a replacement for a malfunctioning device. Griffin Technology
takes a rather different approach to the process by issuing replacements right away, and asking only that the customer
destroy the non-functioning device "in a creative manner" and send photographic evidence. Well, one customer took the
challenge to heart and decided the only sane thing to do would be to take the obvious route: blow it up with model
rocket engines. Luckily, she also had the good sense to document the whole process. Witness evidence of destruction
after the jump.

Yeah, that pretty much RULES on a Thursday! =D
Oh my goodness!! Is this what Ipod owners do in their free time? They are supposed to be like cool and stuff but this fella really takes the cake to the next level. I'm sure H10 owners are much less violence prone.
HEYUAN it's a SHE not a fella, probably pre-menstrual and you know how irrational they get when that happens.
It's the only time my Girl Friend plays video games coz she gets to kill shit with no repercussions.
anyone have a mirror? no workie for me.
Heyuan, don't mess with iPod owners. ;)
The pictures are OK but where's the video?
What a cool company! If this is what they encourage their customers to do, I wonder how much fun it'd be working there.
When my iTrip starts getting all static-ey on me I sometimes think of hitting it with a hammer a few times, but then I remeber I don't have an auxilary line-in on my stereo, so I just have to hold the whole thing to reduce the static.
My monthlies had nothing to do with the decision to use model rocket engines to destroy the iTrip. It was just fun. When I get pre-periodic, I take it out on my karate students, not on inanimate objects.
Hey, that's not cool. I've had to send a GriffinTechnology PowerMate back twice. They just sent me a new one and asked that I send the defective one back. The second time, they seemed a bit upset about it. Man, I would've had some fun if they had been cool like that to me...
i rma'd my itrip mini, they requested for me to send back the bad unit but did not include a return mailing slip so i will wait for them to beg for it back or bill me for another itrip before sending it back....
