Seamful GPS/WiFi-based game
The Seamful Game is the perfect past-time for all those restless urban smartmobs running amok with WiFi-enabled Pocket PCs and too much free time. It combines GPS and WiFi in a multiplayer team game designed to take advantage of spotty WiFi coverage (just when we thought there were no advantages!) by having players pick up virtual coins in dead spot areas to be uploaded for points in areas with wireless coverage. You'll have to watch out for "mines" and for the "pick pockets" who can steal your coins — and uploading coins in a dead zone will result in a heartbreaking loss of all carried coins. Striped pants not included.

From that picture this looks like a great way to put a dent in your forehead...
Striped pant's or no.
I suppose this is an anemicly dim ray of hope for the Gizmondo though. It looks like there are at least SOME people that want to play with GPS...

This looks the perfect game for the Jizmondo...if it had wifi.

That's a good use of the GPS function

I don't think that is going to work. Who will take the picture from 300 feet above? C'mon.
I'd rather see a GPS ipod cellphone that tells me when I'm near a starbucks.

Looks like an interesting game. Reminds me of geochacing only more interactive. It is to bad they don't have a download.

Hmmm, Nintendo filed a patent a few years ago about applications of a GPS cartridge for the GameBoy Color. Making such a device for the DS could offer a lot of possibilities, like a MMORPG that mapped to real cities.

It's about time someone in the game world did something decent with GPS...
