Grafedia: It's art Jim, but not as we know it
NYU grad student John Geraci is trying to stretch the web to its utmost limits and produce something resembling art in the process. His Grafedia project is spraying the streets of New York and other cities around the world with graffiti that passersby can interact with using their cellphone or other email-equipped device. If you have a phone that supports picture messages and is under a T-Mobile, Verizon Communications or Cingular Wireless contract, you simply send a message to the underlined word @grafedia.net and you'll receive whatever image, video or sound file has been attached to it.

What a douche
i dont understand why you have to be uwith those providers (why not Sprint?). it seems as long as you have picture mail, then it should work, right?
Definately creative. Always like it when the virtual world touches the real world.
I always like to hear when a Geraci is making a positive contribution to the world at large.
