The Nabaztag, the WiFi-enabled ambient bunny
From Violet, the designers of that USB-powered fragrance
diffuser we mentioned last year, comes the Nabaztag, a cutesy competitor for the Ambient Orb that connects up to
the Internet over WiFi (instead of an FM subcarrier network) and uses changing colors on its belly(or move its ears) to
let you know whether you have new email, or what the weather's like outside, or how the stock market is doing, etc.
There's also something or other about one Nabaztag being able to communicate with another, but it's not clear exactly
what they mean by that. Anyway, goes on sale in France later this month with a retail price of €95.

FYI...."NABAZTAG" is the phonetic English spelling of the Armenian word for bunny!

... it plays sounds (MIDI & MP3) so that you can bother your friend while they work and more important say I love you to your girl/boy friend !! (when nabaztag received a sound he also move its ears and change colors accordingly ... very good dancer).
Yes they do communicate : if you marry them when you move the ears of one rabbit the other(s) act accordingly ...
... and more !

My Nabaztag arrived from France today (I'm in London). Despite the very sparse instructions being in English, there is no English help on the website. As the instructions in the box say "plug in to the power and register at nabaztag.com" - that's not very helpful. I suppose its my own fault for only going as far as O Level French...
When I try registering the MAC address as per the instructions, it says its already registered. BAH!
