EnOcean is introducing a battery-free wireless light switch at the Lightfair International trade show this week in
New York. The switches supposedly last as long as regular light switches and don't require any wiring or boxes
behind the wall. Intead, they work by scraping up every bit of energy they can when the switch is pressed, then
transmit a high power RF signal to control the lighting. The system can also be used as a dimmer or to control
window shades and blinds. No word yet on when they'll be showing up at your local hardware store though, or how
much they'll cost.
