SK Teletech's IMB-1000

It's kind of funny how easy Korean electronics companies make it look—SK Teletech obviously saw the Sidekick,
probably had a good laugh at our pathetic gesturing, and then whipped up the IMB-1000. You're going to want to throw
your phone out when you hear that this thing's got EV-DO, DMB satellite video, a 2.4-inch 260k color QVGA touchscreen,
stereo speakers, 2-megapixel digital camera, MP3 player, and 100MB of internal memory.

That aerial is pretty dumb though, I like the look of it but it'd a right pain in yer groin...
That's pretty friggin diesel, as long as you dont ALWAYS have to use it in landscape orientation... though by the looks of the keys it sure would be hard to do much with it in portrait orientation. Also the antenna size (needed for DMB I assume) is crazy. I'd totally rock it though if it came over here (hah)!
This thing reminds me of those personal video communicators/all-around gadgets from Earth: Final Conflict... I wonder how long it will take for someone to make a fully functional replica of those communicators, with realtime video streaming, GPS and all that. Maybe then I'll actually consider replacing my old Nokia 6510.
I live in Seoul and I see all of these phones shown on this site almost everyday I go by the cellphone stores. They charge SO much money for these phones though... they may be nice for their features but you pay for the technology. Also, if you look closely you will see how cheap the plastic is on that phone, the build quality is poor. And lastly, if you are not a Korean citizen don't even think of getting a contract, you'll be stuck with pre-pay and crappy features such as a 100 character sms limit.

mitch, poor quality? God cheap plastic? what the hell are you talking about? I guess all american or western phones are made of carbon fiber or some high quality metal shit right? I will say this once and only once.
No Korean cell phone that passes our hands are made from cheap ass material or produced shoddily.
