Motorola black RAZR V3 Contest Finalists: Time to vote!

The truth is, we simply gave up. After five days of trying to pick a winner from over 600 entries we received in our Hit Us With Your Best Shot contest, we finally threw up our hands yesterday and decided to leave it up to all of you to sort out.

So we?re asking you to vote for your favorite photo out of the 12 finalists pictured below. Even narrowing it down to these twelve finalists was tough (thankfully, Ryan and I are finally speaking to each other again) given the huge number of entries, but now it?s your turn to make the final RAZR cut. Say, is that sound a needle dropping?

Incidentally, most of the pics we received fit into one of nine categories:

• People hoping to evoke some sympathy in us by showing off their really old handsets

• People crushing, running over, or otherwise destroying an old cellphone

• People pretending to shave with a cellphone or, conversely, pretending to use a razor as a cellphone

• Tin can phones

• People tricking their babies into begging us for the RAZR

• Various gadgets taped together as a phone

• Phones that were broken in half

• People using bananas as phones

• People talking into vintage gadgets
