Top Global's MobileBridge
We've got a sneaking suspicion a lot more of these things are on the way after last week's Telabria AP-3G and the StompBox: EV-DO to WiFi bridges, or better yet, straight up PCMCIA card based gateway solutions are totally the new black. They're a no-fuss no-muss way to get 3G to your laptop, and even split the signal to all your friends and co-workers without any messiness. And since it's being sold by EV-DO Coverage (disclaimer: they are an Engadget advertiser) who knows, maybe they can even double-barrel that thing for you until Cingular gets that HSDPA network rolling.

Some of us wish they'd post a price on their website. No Price = Probably more than we're willing to pay.
ryan, peter... do you want a demo model... ??? lemme know...
by the way... cliff.. the reason we dont post prices is that Lucent.. is distributing these same routers via their channel... and dont want any price competition... so out of respect for our partners... we treat every thing hush hush? :o)
We're selling these at $780/pop which is actually pretty competitive - check out http://sewelldirect.com/evdo-wifi-router.asp
We don't offer the junxion box, but that is another cheaper solution. The reason we decided not to sell them is because in our tests connecting the router and backhaul took about 30-45 seconds whereas this one connects in about 7 seconds. Probably not a huge deal but none of our tech guys wanted to deal with that kind of lag on a daily basis.
Sorry, for some reason that link put a break at the end which resulted in a dead page - here is the link http://sewelldirect.com/evdo-wifi-router.asp
