New Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub
Belkin is putting out a new 4-port USB hub with support for both USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 (both low- and full-speed) devices. One of those is a top loading port, which will come in handy for plugging in things like thumb drives, and in general provide easy access for devices you just need to temporarily connect. The hub will provide USB power to two different devices simultaneously, potentially dispensing with a couple of wall warts in your setup. It's not available for order just yet, but when it hits it will go for $39.95.

"The hub will provide USB power to two different devices simultaneously"
Exactly what does that mean?
Shouldn't a powered hub power each USB port--in this case, all four? And, shouldn't 'simultaneous' be a given?
How is this different to the one posted a couple of days ago?
