Airport kiosks let travelers mail off-limits items

If you travel in the U.S. a lot, you've probably experienced the post-9/11 frustration of having to hand over a newly prohibited item (no, not my USB Swiss Army Knife!) to a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) inspector before boarding a plane. Sure, you can supposedly get it back later, but why go through the hassle in the first place? A company called ReturnKey is trying to capitalize on the fear of being busted by the TSA by installing kiosks in airports that let you mail prohibited items to your destination (or back home) at the security checkpoint (of course, the goods can't be on the USPS's prohibited list, so forget about sending along that handgun you forgot you were carrying). Needless to say, you can usually avoid the whole mess by remembering to move that meat cleaver or samurai sword to your checked bag before checking in, but who remembers to do that?
