PSP UMD format cracked; game ISOs appear

Another step forward in the race to crack open the
PSP: Paradox has worked out how to get a dump
from a UMD disc, and has released the ISO files for several PSP games (Wipeout: Pure US, Ridge Racers Japanese, and
Vampire Chronicles: The Chaos Tower Japanese). Also of note, UMD discs use the standard ISO9669 format, so the released
ISOs can be burned to regular CDs or DVDs. Know that the games are not yet playable in this format, but it's a big step
forward now that all the reverse engineers out there can get their hands on this stuff.
[Thanks, Jason]

4gb hard drive for psp..anyone ever try that out yet??
What does UMD actually mean?
universal media disc, even though it is not universal
I like the minidisk player idea... is this possible? it does burn its own information, is there a way to "hack" the minidisk player and transfer the "minidisk" to the UMD case? not sure, dont know much about this stuff.
Also, is there an actualy component you can hook into the memory slot that is an actual DVD player? i could have sworn it was online somwhere at one point... Let me know!
UMD = Universal Media Disc

The games aren't near 1.8Gbs, on average there between 150 and 550MB so u can fit 2 or 3 games to 1 GB mem stick quite easily
