South Korea getting the CDMA version of the RAZR V3 next month, you'll have to wait
The CDMA version of the RAZR
V3 isn't supposed to make an appearance Stateside until sometime early next year or really late this year (at least
last we'd heard), but Motorola Korea has just confirmed that they'll be rolling the phone out over there sometime next
month.

why would we not be able to get it here? that makes me so mad, i get a new phone in August (I need a new phone now, but I am not rich, I am waiting for my 22 month period when I get 100 dollars off a phone through Verizon). I cannot wait until next year, bring it NOWWWWWW...
Whats the difference between this and the version thats allready out (Cingular)?
Motorola and/or the U.S. Carriers just don't get it. By early next year, one year from now, nobody will give a crap about the CDMA version of the RAZR. There will be many other new and more impressive handsets out by then, and nobody will care.
I saw the RAZR for the first time today and IT IS HUUUUUGE.
if i get one of my friends to pick one of these up for me while he's on vacation, will it work on verizon here in the states?
Great... on that "other" gadget site, they're reporting that the CDMA version of the RAZR loses Bluetooth! If so, I can say I won't be buying it. How stupid; I use my BT headset all the time, and I use DUN to connect my laptop to the Internet when no other connection is available.
its news like this that makes me glad we switched to cingular (from verizon) in december. i love my v551 and the fact that the bt is 100% bt, none of this watered down crap verizon tries to pass of as bluetooth. i wanted the razr, but it was 2 expensive @ the time, lets c here: $50 (v551) vs. $400 (razr in december) and it wasn't really that big in my opinion.
