Fujitsu's new LifeBook B6000 line of TFT notebooks
Fujitsu's rolling out a new line that updates their LifeBook 3000 line — they're billing the larger, brighter screen and longer battery life on the LifeBook B6000 series as working well for the healthcare and Field-Force Automation markets. It's a 3.3 pound unit with Intel's Pentium M under the hood and a 12.1-inch XGA touch screen display. They're saying it'll pump out six hours of life on a single charge, which has perked our ears. Other specs include Atheros Super AG wireless, gigabit ethernet, Bluetooth, Smart Card reader and optional biometric fingerprint scanner, all starting at $1649 for a base configuration.

Anybody else wondering how that pen is casting a shadow on a backlit LCD screen?
It's because of the blinding glare of photoshop...
Even worse than the shadow itself, is how much the shadow changes on the edge of the bezel. It shifts so much that it implies the bezel is about an inch thick. I thought artists were supposed to know about light n' shadow...
I had a B2131 for a couple years, it was an awesome little touchscreen notebook (Until I left it behind in a taxi.. damn booze).
its a laptop, dont they all have PCMCIA slots? thought that was kinda a standard thing, heck, even my Sony Vaio Picturebook has a PCMCIA slot
